YLEStarters

o Pre A1 Starters (YLE Starters)

  • Pre A1 Starters is the first of the three English qualifications (YLE) designed for young learners aged 6-12. (Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers).
  • The test introduces children to everyday written and spoken English and are an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English.
  • The test is written around familiar topics and focus on the skills needed to communicate effectively in English through listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  • Length – About 45 minutes

YLEMovers

o A1 Movers (YLE Movers)

  • A1 Movers is the second of the three English qualifications (YLE) designed for young learners aged 6-12. (Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers)
  • The test introduces children to everyday written and spoken English and are an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English.
  • The test is written around familiar topics and focus on the skills needed to communicate effectively in English through listening, speaking, reading and writing.

o A2 Flyers (YLE Flyers)

  • A2 Flyers is the third of the three English qualifications (YLE) designed for young learners aged 6-12. (Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers).
  • The test introduces children to everyday written and spoken English and are an excellent way for them to gain confidence and improve their English.
  • The test is written around familiar topics and focus on the skills needed to communicate effectively in English through listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  • Length – About 1 hour 15 minutes

A2Key

o A2 Key (KET)

  • An A2 Key qualification is proof of your ability to use English to communicate in simple situations. The exam tests all four English Language skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking.
  • 2 hours in length

A2Key

o A2 Key for Schools (KET)

  • An A2 Key for Schools qualification shows that a student can use English to communicate in simple situations. It is a logical next step after YLE (Cambridge qualifications designed for young learners) and a good place for older children to start learning English too.
  • This exam is targeted at the same CEFR level as A2 Key, but with content aimed at school-age learners rather than adults.
  • Length – about 2 hors

B1Preliminary

o B1 Preliminary (PET)

  • A B1 Preliminary qualification shows tha you have mastered the basics of English and now have practical language skills for everyday use.
  • This exam is the logical step in your language learning journey between A2 Key and B2 First.
  • Length – About 2 hours 20 minutes

B1Preliminary

o B1 Preliminary for schools (PET)

  • A B1 Preliminary for Schools qualification shows that a student has mastered the basics of English and now has practical language skills for everyday use.
  • This exam is the logical step in a student’s language learning journey between A2 Key for Schools and B2 First for schools.
  • Length – About 2 hours 20 minutes

B2First

o B2 First (FCE)

  • A B2 First qualification proves that you have the language skills to live and work independently in an English-speaking country or study on courses taught in English.
  • This exam is the logical step in your language learning journey between B1 Preliminary and C1 Advanced.
  • Length – 3.5 hours

B2First

o B2 First for Schools (FCE)

  • A B1 First for Schools qualification shows that a student has the language skills they need to communicate in an English-speaking environment. It is also a great way to prepare for higher-level exams such as C1 Advanced.
  • B2 First for schools is targeted at the same CEFR level as B2 First but with content aimed at school-age learners rather than adults.
  • Length – About 3.5 hours

C1Advanced

o C1 Advanced (CAE)

  • C1 Advanced is an in-depth, high-level qualification that shows you have the language skills that employers and universities are looking for.
  • More than 9,000 educational institutions, business and government departments around the world accept C1 Advanced as proof of high-level achievement in learning English.
  • Preparing for C1 Advanced helps learners develop the skills to make the most of studying, working and living in English-speaking countries.
  • This exam is the logical step in your language learning journey between B2 First and C2 Proficiency.
  • Length – About 4 hours

o C2 Proficiency (CPE)

  • The highest-level qualification that is proof that you are a highly competent speaker of English.
  • This qualification shows that you have mastered English to an exceptional level. It proves that you can communicate with a fluency and sophistication of a highly competent English speaker.
  • Length – about 4 hours



B1Business

o B1 Business Preliminary (BEC Preliminary C2)

  • B1 Business Preliminary is one of three Qualifications for business.
  • This exam will help you get the practical language skills you need to start doing business in English.
  • With a B1 Preliminary qualification, you show employers that you have a good knowledge of English for practical, everyday use in business.
  • This certificate show you can:

    • Talk about business subjects
    • Understand charts and graphs
    • Write a short business email
    • Follow short telephone conversations

o B2 Business Vantage (BEC Vantage)

  • B2 Business Vantage is one of three Qualifications for business.

C1Business

o C1 Business Higher (BEC Higher)

  • B2 Business Vantage is one of three Qualifications for business.
  • This exam will help you get the practical language skills you need to work effectively at a senior level in international business.
  • With a C1 Business Higher qualification, you show employers that you have achieved an advanced level of Business English.
  • This certificate show you can:

    • Communicate effectively at managerial and promotional level
